At lower temperatures, ion movement inside a LiPo battery slows, increasing internal resistance. Under high current loads, that can mean greater voltage sag and less effective power delivery.
Warming the battery before the run helps reduce internal resistance, allowing it to deliver power more effectively and consistently.

When the temperature is set above 45°C, the maximum heating time is automatically limited to 30 minutes.
Because higher temperatures call for greater care, ThermoGuard keeps the heat—and the time—under control.
Due to the inherent thermal risks of lithium batteries, constant adult supervision is required throughout operation. Never leave charging batteries unattended.

When you’re powering ThermoGuard from a battery, the power source matters too.
Built-in low-voltage protection monitors the input and helps prevent the source battery from being over-discharged during warming.
For common input voltage ranges, ThermoGuard automatically applies a preset protection threshold. Other voltage ranges allow the cutoff voltage to be set manually.
